Palms of My Hands

One of the hardest trials you can go through is when a relationship, especially with your spouse is tested. Recently, just when my best friend had declared, “Life, hand me any trial. I can take it,” her husband and she had a long period of terrible misunderstanding. They were not communicating much because they both lacked time, and their respective in-laws were getting on their nerves. They couldn’t seem to reconcile their differences and their points of view because they started talking, their emotions would get the better of them.

I understand now that two people, even if they live under the same roof and sleep in the same bed can still undergo loneliness and self-turmoil.
