Independence Day is Forgotten
Philippine Independence Day is celebrated on the 12th day of June but then it seems that most Filipinos have forgotten it and are misled of the real date because the president declared a three-day vacation by moving the holiday to June 9, a Monday, instead of June 12. With this, many Filipinos especially the young ones forget that Independence Day is really on June 12..
