Largest Accordion
The largest accordion in the world that can actually be played was built in Ancona , Italy by Giancarlo Francenella. It measures 253 cm (99.5 in), 190 cm (74.8 in) wide, and has a depth of 85 cm (33.4 in). It has 45 treble piano keys, 120 bass buttons, and 240 reeds. The instrument which is made of wood, metals, cardboard, cloth and varnishes was constructed in 2000 and was fully completed in 2001 with over 1,000 hours of labor.
