At the age of 84, the once sought after actor, Charlton Heston died Saturday April 5, 2008 in the presence of his family. The actor is known for his roles in Ben Hur, The Ten Commandments, El Cid and many more. In 1998 he had a surgery to replace his hip and on that same year he survived prostate cancer. However, by the year 2002 he began to battle Alzheimer¢s. One year later he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom. Now, the world misses one of the actors known for being outspoken in his political views.
