During the USTv Awards on last February 20, 2008 at University of Santo Tomas, according to the AB Journalism Student John Moran, a member of the student-dominated panel of judge, when they called the name of KAREN DAVILA for winning the Best News and Public Affairs Female Host Award 2008, KORINA SANCHEZ left just quickly as she arrived when Karen Davila was declared the winner. Davila and Sanchez both from ABS-CBN, were two of three nominees, the third was GMA’s Mel Tiangco, who was not present.
