Regine Velasquez has announced that she is, and will remain, a Kapuso. “She decided to stay in GMA,” says an emotional Regine on GMA Pinoy TV’s Sunday variety program, SOP, and thus virtually ending talks of her leaving GMA. Rumors about her signing up with ABS-CBN started two weeks ago when Regine, together with her SOP co-hosts, cried while singing songs about goodbyes and separation during SOP’s Constellation of Stars. This, as well as a number of TV appearances in various ABS-CBN shows, has triggered rumors about Regine’s transfer. After thinking things over, Regine has decided to stay with GMA where she feels she would be happy. Promising that she won’t say goodbye again.
