Palms of My Hands

Today is the day of hearts or what is popularly known as Valentines Day. I almost forgot the event if not for my friend who called me this morning to greet me. I did forget for I have no love now. The morning papers greeted its readers thru its headlines, are all but all about Valentines day preparations where a woman employee of a chocolate store prepared a tray of heart like shape red sweet treats for its customers. But me, I just lost my love recently. Hence, Valentines day for me is not meaningful. Well, I will just let this day pass as in just like any other ordinary day. But to those people who are in love, who have partners to share their love, you’re very lucky, keep them in love with you, keep the love going and burning, love them to the fullest and don’t lose them.
