Palms of My Hands

The 5th bridge of Cagayan de Oro City has been finally fully operational in January 2008. It connects barangay Carmen to barangays Nazareth and Macasandig. As of the moment the bridge has two access roads; the road leading to Tomas Saco Street and Velez Street . There are still two access roads which are still under construction, the one that leads to Pabayo Street and Tibasak, Macasandig. With the opening of the 5th bridge, the traffic in the downtown area particularly with that of the Ysalina Bridge near the City Hall is already decongested because vehicle owners have now the option to traverse the eastern side of the city.
